La Ronge, Saskatchewan

The Saskaloppet is set to go on Friday, March 4 (the Kupesewin) and Saturday, March 5 (main events). Because of fire damage on the regular Saskaloppet Trail, all events will be held at the Don Allen Trails.

On Friday, March 4th, and Saturday, March 5th, 2016, the La Ronge Ski Club and the La Ronge community will welcome hundreds of skiers to the 33rd annual Don Allen Saskaloppet in Lac la Ronge Provincial Park.  Now an established Saskatchewan tradition, the Saskaloppet is well known for its enthusiastic volunteers, expertly groomed classic and skate trails, and the rugged beauty of the Park’s boreal forest and Precambrian Shield landscape
